Though unfortunately out-of-print, this is a book which deserves to make a comeback. Nigel Jackson is kind of hit-or-miss, for me, but this book shows just what the man is capable of. That is, this is a book on what might be called the 'practical' or even 'tantric' side of remedial astrology. So, though I no longer practice magic myself, I still return again and again to Nigel Jackson's 'Celestial Magic' as a fountain of knowledge on Middle Eastern and Western approaches to certain astrological topics still held in high importance in Vedic astrology, but almost entirely forgotten in Western astrology. My only complaints are that I wish the book were significantly longer, possibly twice as long as it is, and that it were organized a bit more clearly. If it ever does get a new edition or republication, I hope that it at least gets a table of contents and an index.
