My Fujifilm S3000 camera is not begin detected by the computer. Nothing happens when I plug it in the USB port. There is nothing in 'My computer' or in the Device Manager. When I plug the USB cable into the camera & computer the camera displays the icon with 'DSC' like it's supposed to, and the light above the screen is green.

I installed the USB drivers from Fujifilms website and rebooted the computer. Fujifilm's forums say to do what I already did (above) when this problem happens. I unplugged the USB cable and plugged in my MP3 player, and the MP3 player immediately shows up on the computer.

I unplugged the USB cable and plugged in my MP3 player, and the MP3 player immediately shows up on the computer. When that happens with other devices, technicians often suggest finding the Fuji USB driver in Device Manager (where if it's damaged it should be flagged with a yellow exclamation mark), deleting it, and then rebooting the computer with the camera NOT plugged in. After rebooting, the camera should then be plugged in and the computer should immediately detect it and install the proper Fuji driver. Then you should have to reboot one more time to activate the new driver. I just plugged in my S5200 for the first time to see what would happen and Win XP found it (as expected) and installed the driver. In Device Manager I found the new driver in 'Disk drives', where it appeared in the list as 'FUJIFILM USB-DRIVEUNIT USB Device'. The S3000 also has a Reset setting in the SET-UP menu which probably should be tried.
