It's a fake,and to make it believable,commodorekulor or others even altered the text for the pokemon center and mart signs (look,they're in japanese in that video).Also,the music is fake,for these reasons: 1. Game boy/colour/ ISN'T capable of that.music for gameboy is short and always loops,but in that video there are additional sound effects later 2. The version 1.0 you can download (check md5 hash and see if it has the md5 of 1.0 to be sure) is nothing so different.if you buy a cartridge of green/japanese red on ebay,check the sticker.if you see only numbers,it's a 1.0 I also think this lavender town thing is just a creepypasta,no difference between releases. I read a rare thing about pokemon 4 months ago, correct me if I'm wrong. I knew about one of the earliest betas ever for Pokemon and it comes from 1991 1992, if I haven't read bad, Pokemon Red, or better, Capsule Monsters was about to be a SNES (or NES, I don't remember) game, the first beta ever had 5 cities (it stops at vermillion city) and only the first 50 Pokemon avaiable, the last pseudo-SNES beta has 150 Pokemon (not Mew yet) and all the cities including E4 League, If I'm not wrong in the first version there were some differences: 1- colors.
